Challenge #122 - Stars & Stripes

Hi Crafters! Amber here, and for today's challenge we are using Stars & Stripes. You can mix any patterns you want if you can't work in stars or stripes on your project. Pattern mixing is everywhere right now! How do you feel about it? Do you love it or does it drive you crazy? I personally love it and hope you can find a way to join us in this challenge.

I combined stars and stripes on this layout about my youngest:

Michele embossed a star background and then added a chipboard sentiment with striped letters.

Karrie made "Stars" literally the theme of the page and used stamps to make my stripes!

Brittany used paper with stars and stripes for her layout and embellished with paper punched stars.

Challenge #121 - With Heart

Hi!  It's Kristy here.  Welcome to our newest challenge.  February is here, and love is in the air.  Love of hearts, that is.  We look forward to seeing your projects featuring hearts.  You have until Saturday, February 18th to link up your projects.

If you haven't seen, we have changed up our prize structure this year:
We will continue to post challenges on the first and third Monday each month, and the winner from each challenge will be invited to be a guest designer for one of our future challenges so we can showcase your beautiful work! Then, all our winners -local AND international- for those three months will be entered into a drawing for an incredible prize! For full participation details, please click and read the "How to Play" link.

Check out the beautiful projects the Paper Girls have come up with for this challenge.  I love the variety the girls all provided.  It just goes to show hearts are for more than Valentine's Day.  <3
