Hello everyone, Michele here with the next challenge from the Paper Girls! When I choose a challenge I like one that uses up things I might have in my stash that I love but just don't normally reach for. This time I've chosen vellum.
Challenge #181 - Vellum
Plain vellum, patterned, colored, whatever you'd like. But I know you have some in your stash, we all do!
We have a wonderful guest designer for you today:
Jessica Navarro
I am a Senior Vice President at WSP, the largest healthcare MEP design firm in the world. I’m an electrical engineer by day and a wife/mother by night. My husband of 10 years, Juan and spunky 7 year old daughter, Maddie, support my love of scrapbooking and crafting. Maddie’s been scrapbooking her own pages since she was 4 years old. I’m pretty sure she is the most photographed and documented child in the world! I love traveling, reading, planning parties, and crafting!
I’m so excited to be featured as guest designer this month and what a great challenge month it is! “VELLUM”. I haven’t used vellum in a long time. This challenge is the best kind, because I used up a lot of old stash! I managed to include 30 pieces of vellum cuts from Close To My Heart (Calypso Complements) on this layout. I used a glittzy piece of cardstock from Bazzill as my base, Thickers alpha stickers for the year, and mini alphas from BasicGrey. I also included a couple of arrows from Paper Wizard. The vellum pieces offset the photos perfect for a bit of Summer Swimming Popsicle fun! I’d love for you to follow me via my blog at: https://scraplifterdesigns.blogspot.com/2019/08/guest-designer-for-papergirls-challenge.html
Thank you, Jessica, for sharing your bright, beautiful layout, and your fun use of vellum!
