Hello everyone, this is Brittany, and I'm hosting our challenge this week - and it's all about FAMILY! This can be your family by blood or adoption, your family of friends or co-workers, your furry/feathered/scaly friend family, or whatever family means to you. I can't wait to see what you create with this theme!
Before we start with loads of beautiful inspiration, I'd like to introduce you to our fabulous guest designer for this challenge, Karen Finkle, and let her tell you a little about herself and her gorgeous project.
"I began stamping in 2012 sporadically. In 2013 I started falling in love with stamping. My husband and I were RVing on our second Civil War trip and I didn't bring any stamping supplies with me. There was a reason for that in hindsight. Our trip was cut short while we were in NC due to a discovered cancerous tumor in his neck. We spent 3 months in NC for surgery and daily radiation. We returned to FL for chemo and my stress relief became stamping!
What also is great about stamping is all the stampers I met through the internet who were willing to pray for us on our treacherous journey. The doctors gave him one year to live. Fast forward 6 years...I am still stamping daily but yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of my husband's passing.
He supported my passion and would be so happy to know that I'm a guest designer today. You can find out more about me and details for my card at https://karenscardkorner.
For a short synopsis, it was part of a One Sheet Wonder series using Stampin' Up Designer Series Paper."
Thank you SO much for designing with us and sharing your story, Karen. We are so happy to decided to join us and share this beautiful project.
Here is some additional inspiration from our design team...
I've been wanting to scrapbook these beautiful family photos we took last year. The color scream fall too, so it's very suiting for this season.

My family was all in town together so we did a quick picture of all of my siblings with my parents.

I created a card to send to some distant relative for Thanksgiving. I loved the color palette and the gold sentiment.
